Janelle Monae took over New York City
Janelle Monae's Electric Lady disc arrived in stores Tuesday and she celebrated the release with a star-studded release party and performance.
Sponsored by Target, CoverGirl and Sonos, the party kicked off earlier in the day with the launch of Electric Pirate Radio, a limited-time radio station broadcast from a ship off the waters off the Hudson River (clever tie-in to Janelle running "Android" web series).
Janelle posed with a group of "Covergirl" servers.
Diddy posed with Miguel, who appears on Janelle's song "PrimeTime".
Melanie Fiona chilled out with Miguel and Janelle and offered up her support.
Rapper Big Boi also appeared on stage to support Janelle.
LaLa Anthony looked freakin' amazing. She appeared on stage to announce Janelle's performance rocking sexy black bandage boots and a black pocketed mini dress.
Reality star and model Toccara posed with the lady of the hour. She's looking great these days.
Record music executives Mike Kyser and Julie Greenwald were there to celebrate the album release.
So was record exec Kevin Liles.
"Airplanes" rapper B.o.B. posed for the cameras.
VH1 personality Janelle Snowden celebrated the album release.

Janelle moved the crowd with songs from the new disc which features collaborations with Erykah, Solange, Prince, Miguel, Esperanza.

Mario Lopez and wife Courtney Mazza have welcomed their second child — a baby boy they’ve named Dominic.
The actor and TV personality took to Twitter to announce the news on Monday, Sept 9th. He tweeted, “It’s a boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please welcome Dominic Lopez to the world,” he wrote. “Couldn’t be happier… Courtney and baby are doing just fine.”
The baby boy joins big sister Gia Francesca, who happens to be turning three years old this Wednesday.

Soooo, do I have the scoop for you guys about the new "Mob Wives" that will be coming to our TV screens once again!!
Where shall I begin with this story? Let's start with this.....some ladies that we've come to know and love are not returning for the new season such as Karen Gravano, Ramona Rizzo and Carla Facciolo. I've even heard that Drita is not returning, but that information is still up in the air.
The new "Mob Wives" who will be joining the cast are Natalie Lise (photo'd above with Renee Graziano and I) and another newcomer who's name is Alicia DiMichele.

Kelly Price Announces R&B Divas Tour! Guess Whose Not Invited?
The show must go on! Especially when it comes to the R&B Divas franchise’s off-camera work. The first season of R&B Divas LA has wrapped, but there are still some viewers that were disappointed that the cast couldn’t unite for a monologue performance. And while it’s highly unlikely that we’ll see all six women hold hands and sing Kumbaya, we will see some of the divas on tour. Lamar Odom's Bad September Continues; Photog Sues Him for $565,000
The problems and the drama just don’t seem to stop for Lamar Odom. Khloe Kardashian’s husband is being sued by a photographer over a violent incident in July. He’s accused of taking the shutterbug’s equipment out of his car and destroying it by throwing it into a roadway.
At the time of the incident, the photographer (Stefan Saad) was questioning Odom about rumors he’d been cheating on his wife. Saad is now suing the NBA player for more than $565,000 in damages.
In court documents, Saad states, “The Kardashian clan has apparently come to believe that it is above the law, and has some exceptional privilege to disregard the rights of others.”
Saad also says that Khloe K has defamed him on Twitter, by posting online that he broke into “our gated area and violated our private property.” Saad denies that claim.
