Fortunes rise and fall, fashions come and go, but one thing never changes: It’s always good to be Diddy. Sean “Diddy” Combs lands on the cover of LA Confidential magazine this month. The Maybach 62 S, black on black on four gleaming wheels, waits in the gated carport of a photography studio on Sunset Boulevard, where Diddy—well, “It’s Mr. Combs,” says his chauffeur, who also drove for Michael Jackson—is finishing up a photo shoot. The trunk is piled high with Louis Vuitton attachés. “Be ready,” he says. “Mr. Combs likes to get rolling fast and you don’t want to be left.”
Sean John Combs, 43, has an excellent support team tending to his eclectic, farranging, ever-rolling needs. During the shoot, in addition to the standard wardrobe, makeup, and hairstylists, Diddy had what appeared to be a cell phone bearer (the BlackBerry does not stop dinging), a jacket wrangler, and various defenders of the Diddy throne and flame.
“Mr. Comb’s schedule is extremely tight, and he would prefer to conduct the conversation in the car,” his calendar keeper informed the interviewer. And by car, she meant the luxury vehicle of all luxury vehicles. With a top speed of 155 miles per hour and a price tag estimated around $700,000, the bespoke Maybach is emblematic of Diddy’s status as the mackest daddy in the realm.
DAMN: 50 Cent Curses 16-Year-Old Son Out Via Text, ‘I Don’t Have A Son Anymore!’
More unflattering press for rapper, 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson). Rumor has it, he and his 16-year-old son, Marquise, are on the ‘outs’–and not in your typical father son sorta way. How do we know? An alleged recent text conversation between 50 and his teenage son has been released and it’s not pretty. From what we gather, a text argument started when 50 arrived at Marquise’s mother’s home, to visit his son. Marquise didn’t answer the door and apparently it pissed 50 off-ALOT. Here’s the transcript of the unfiltered and raw exchange:

Rihanna Spotted Posted Up With Miguel
What happens when you get Miguel and Bad Gal Ri Ri in one room? It’s definitely not new music, or at least not yet.
The two songbirds were spotted in Poland posted up as though they were posing for a photo shoot while attending the Open’er Festival in Gdynia. Rihanna, who is scheduled to perform tomorrow, came out to the show decked out in black and white to show support for Miguel as well as Kings of Leon.

Chris Brown, The Unity Campaign & Reebok Team Up To Give Back To Needy Kids!
Over the weekend, Chris Brown teamed up with The Unity Campaign and Reebok for the “WE US: Walk Everywhere in Unity’s Shoes” campaign at Crenshaw Senior High School in Los Angeles, CA. The charity event, sponsored by the Unity Campaign and Reebok, provided each child in need a pair of sneakers to take home.
Of the event and campaign Brown told People, “I used to have to borrow my cousin’s clothes. So being able to come from that poverty-stricken environment and then being able to get out of it is what I tried to [do]. …I just want to show the kids and have them have a better light of opportunities for them to do what they need to do.”
